Trendex uses Hewlett Packard Proliant servers to run the Gastrend software. HP servers run on Intel Eight-Core XEON processors using SCSI technology and can support Windows PC's or Mac's, and serial and laser printers. These servers are designed to support 1-100 plus users simultaneously.
All Trendex hardware is UNIX/Linux compatible. Trendex has been specializing in the UNIX/Linux environment since 1985 including installation, configuration and design of UNIX/Linux scripts.
Trendex also distributes a host of other components and peripherals to fully utilize the capacities of a computer system.
Fujitsu dot matrix printers enable printing of multi part preprinted forms (ie: Delivery Notes and Counter Sales Invoices). Hewlett Packard Laser printers can generate quality reports and business forms (invoices, statements, etc...) incorporating graphics, colors and company logos.
Bar Code labels can be printed on TEC (Toshiba) thermal label printers.
Counter Sales receipts can be printed on Epson Dot Matrix receipt printers in single or multi part.
Combining superb performance and ease of use, the rugged, versatile DS3608 corded hand-held scanners from Zebra Technologies allows scanning of barcodes in the harshest conditions. The DS-3678 cordless scanner allows scanning of up to 100-ft away from a point of sale terminal, can withstand 6-ft drops to concrete and operates under harsh conditions.
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ M1, 7 inch rugged tablet PC with integrated bar code scanner or RFID reader allows you to perform order entry and inventory control out in the field or from the truck. Because of the storage capacity and power of the Toughpad, Trendex software users can access customer data, product availability, pricing, and cylinder balance at remote locations. Complete integration with Trendex software allows data to be uploaded to the main Linux server for updating of all related files.
Trendex Software can be run on existing Windows PC's or Mac's using the BBj client software.
